I love social media, but my life is busy, and as much as I love curating and posting pictures, I had to start figuring out a way to be more efficient with my time. I was spending up to an hour every single day posting, captioning, commenting, and engaging with my audience on social media.
Planoly debuted as planogr.am before changing their name to Planoly in 2016. It’s a beautiful, easy to use tool to plan, craft, and schedule your Instagram posts. Touted as the first visual planning tool, you use the computer to plan your posts in advance, pre-write the captions, respond to comments, and even see analytics!
As an entrepreneur, I know how important social media marketing is, and I know I need to be strategic! Planoly’s analytics show you faves and comments on pictures for each week, month and year. You can see what’s been your most popular, what’s garnered the most attention, and what has created the most interaction with your audience, so that you can know easily what works best!
Here’s the details: you can upload pictures from your computer, Dropbox, or Google drive, use the layout grid to see how it will all look together, rearrange everything with a drag-and-drop interface, and schedule when to post each one.
Planoly now has a Free Forever plan, instead of the trial they used to offer, which gives you 30 uploads per month, and use of the app online and on mobile, and comes with one month of metrics and analytics. There are also several paid options, starting at $7 per month for a Solo account, up to $159 per month for a Team plan, to support up to 10 different Instagram accounts.
