Dyson Supersonic Goes Gold-Plate: The Rolls Royce of Hairdryers

Dyson came out with the original Supersonic hairdyer two years ago, and I was intrigued. It was a gadget that helped me in my battle against thick and curly frizz (read Jew fro).

But as if the original $400 Dyson hairdryer wasn’t luxurious enough, the company is back with a $500 23.75-karat-gold-plated version. The company released a even newer and improved aka  “re-engineered” Supersonic, which will be available for purchase exclusively online.

The high-end hair tool is adorned with five gold leaves, and features a red presentation case (in case you want to show it off on your vanity).

Deets:

Magnetic attachments
The Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer comes with rotating magnetic attachments. So you can quickly click them on and off during styling.

4 precise heat settings
212°F fast drying and styling
176°F regular drying
140°F gentle drying

The Dyson digital motor V9
Positioned in the handle, it spins on average 6 times faster than other hair dryer motors with one inaudible frequency - yet is a third of the weight.
