Samsung's Portable SSD T7 Shield Review
I recently ditched my old hard drive for this portable Samsung T7 Shield external storage. As a content creator and social media consultant I am always on the go and need external storage to back up all my large files.
Coming in a durable, compact size, it's 13mm thin and has a sleek design. It comes in 3 colors including beige, black and blue, which I went with. The case is made of rubber, but looks and feels expensive. But most importantly, it's INSANELY fast. I usually have massive files to transfer for editing and it's done in about 10~ 15 seconds, the transfer speed is 1,000MB per second.
Something I love for me– the clumsiest person on earth is that it’s water resistant, dust resistant, (on text max 3meter / 9.8ft drop resistant) and that the T7 Shield protects precious data from life's mishaps.
I’ve probably dropped this badboy like 47 times -- and it passed all my tests. But the biggest test of all-- it's compatible with my devices including Windows PC, Macbook, Android tablet, Android phone, Xbox, Playstation5.
If you're anything like me, you have 23876 pieces of content stored on your device and you regularly need to move large files between computers or want a travel backup for your laptop, you should get a speedy portable SSD like this.
It’s compact enough to tuck in a purse, laptop bag or briefcase or even to stash in a shallow drawer.
