Tech for Easy Traveling

The travelling season is upon us. But these days, don’t plan on cruising up to an open airport check-in counter and printing out your boarding pass— things are a chang’n. The travel industry has gone full speed on digital adoption, especially since the pandemic. And that’s good news for you, even if you’re not tech savvy, these gadgets and apps can help you avoid headaches, lost items and long lines — and they’re surprisingly easy to use.

Travel can be stressful, but these tech items and apps can make a huge difference.

Ekster Parliament Smart Wallet

Even with mobile payments taking off, most of us still carry credit cards, ID, membership cards, and sometimes even cash around with us. But this smart wallet is great option for traveling because it gives you instant card access at the click of a button. It also has built-in RFID blocking technology that protects your cards from skimmers and wireless theft.

Misplaced or lost your Ekster? Ring it from your phone or see where you last had it on a map. The tracker is sold separately, but super worth it. You can get a warning if you leave it behind and track its location on a map on your phone. Use the 2-way ringing feature and receive separation alerts.

Pro tip: Keep a digital eye on your stuff. I highly recommend slapping a tracker on your luggage to help you keep an eye on your valuables and find them if you lose anything.

Apple’s AirTags are ideal if you have an iPhone, Mac, or iPad.
The Chipolo is compatible with Android and Apple.
The Tile 2-pack is Android compatible and has a tracker for your luggage and one to slide into your wallet.
