How to get your Amazon credit from Apple's ebook price-fixing settlement

It's raining Amazon credit....for some at least.

If you are one of those lucky few that are expecting to receive credit from Kindle purchases as a result of Apple's eBook antitrust settlement case, there is convenient process to check the status via Amazon!

Amazon has announced to its Kindle users they can receive settlement payment through the Kindle site. People who purchased ebooks between April 1, 2010, and May 2012, will receive credits ($6.93 for every purchase that was a New York Times bestseller and $1.57 for every other ebook) from ebook sellers or will get a check if they opted out of receiving credits, according to Hagens Berman Shapiro, a class action lawsuit involved in the lawsuit against Apple.
