Part Time Internship
TechSesh is looking for a creative, entrepreneurial, and tech-savvy Social Media Coordinator Intern. This person will be reporting to TechSesh’s CEO and help create content for our Instagram channels, build the TechSesh brand and voice. Success as an intern requires a unique voice, an ability to take the lead and desire to learn. This person has a keen eye for compelling and innovative content. Above all, this is an opportunity for the right candidate to make a meaningful contribution to building a fast-growing start-up and help other fellow women in STEM.

Some things you’ll be doing:

Content Creation:

Help develop and execute a monthly content calendar that tells the brand story in our aesthetic and voice, and creates community

Leverage trending moments on social regularly to drive audience growth, create brand moments, and keep us top of mind

Create and edit social-first content

Identify valuable new audiences we’ve yet to capture

Help identify other women in tech to bring on as guests for our IG LIVE series

Proactively pitch new content and concepts to expand the TechSesh program’s mission and reach

Community Engagement:

Community before all

Nurture community through continuous dialogue and engagement on social

Help manage and respond to user feedback; stay abreast of trends and ideas the TechSesh community is interested in

Requirements:

Ability to write snappy, smart social copy
Impeccable news judgment with an eye towards tech trends, empowerment and inclusivity
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
A thorough understanding of TechSesh’s voice
Ability to identify trending topics
Basic knowledge of social analytics tools is a plus
Able to take direction and alter workflow with a sense of urgency
Exceptional communication skills

MUST OWN laptop

Highly organized
Photoshop, graphic design savvy is a plus

In addition, Naziri consults with technology brands including Google, Qualcomm, Dell, and Samsung, creating online content, mobile marketing strategy, videos and social media to get their message out to a millennial audience.
