Instagram wants to make it easier for you and your friends to make group plans. The social media platform that you spend late nights, early mornings, and awkward dinners with has introduced a new Chat sticker that lets users join a private chat straight from Stories. Via the new feature, users can now post a Chat sticker onto their Story, which then allows followers to request entry into the DM chatroom (which you can label). A.k.a the perfect way to make weekend plans, exchange WTF emojis about the new Bachelorette episode, and even get travel recs from your friends who are wanderlust obsessed. Chat-starters will have full ability to approve and reject requests that pour in, ensuring that the creepy account with a cat as a profile picture won’t get access to your private plans.
