3 Underrated iPhone Hacks You’ll Actually Use

I genuinely thought everyone knew these… but apparently most people don’t.

So here are three simple iPhone tricks that are surprisingly underused, and once you start using them, they’re hard to go without.

1. Instantly Perfect Your Drawings

If you ever sketch in the Notes app (or apps like Procreate), this one’s a game changer.

When you draw a shape—like a circle, square, or arrow—don’t lift your finger right away. Instead, press and hold for a second.

Your iPhone will automatically clean it up into a perfectly shaped version.

It works on both iPhone and iPad, and once you know it, messy drawings become a thing of the past.

2. Switch Between Apps Faster

Most people switch apps by opening the app switcher and tapping around, but there’s a much faster way.

Just swipe along the bottom edge of your screen to glide between open apps.

It’s smoother, quicker, and once you get used to it, you’ll wonder why you ever did it the long way.

3. Identify Plants and Animals from a Photo

Your iPhone can actually recognize plants, animals, and more, right from your camera roll.

Here’s how it works:
Open a photo, tap the “i” icon at the bottom, and look for the “Look Up” option.

For example, if you’ve taken a picture of a flower you love, your iPhone can tell you exactly what it is, so you can go find it or plant it yourself.

These are the kinds of features that don’t get a lot of attention, but quietly make your phone way more useful.

And chances are, you’ve had them this whole time.
