Tech Hacks to Cut Out Subscriptions

I saved $876 and you can too… if you cut out these subscriptions with these tech hacks

The first thing you need to do is check if you have any recurring subscriptions and theres two ways to do that.

If you have an iPhone, just go to settings, click on your name at the very top,  and then hit “subscriptions”, here you can see all the subscriptions you have signed up for on your phone.

For checking online subscriptions, apps like Rocket Money can track all your subscriptions in one place, and can even help you cancel. Ironically some features require a subscription but the tracking feature is free

DocuSign → Google Drive

DocuSign lets you sign docs and now you don’t need it thanks to Google Drive . You can sign PDFs directly for free. Just upload, sign, send—done. RIP DocuSign. ($396 a year)

Calendly → Google Calendar
If you use Calendly to book meetings, go ahead and cancel it because Google Calendar has a hidden feature called appointment slots that works almost the same—for free. I live by my google calendar. And honorable mention, if you pay for Zoom premium, the free version of google meet is probably everything you need and more, so you don’t waste $120 a year on Zoom.

Grammarly → Microsoft Editor
Grammarly is great but it’s pricey, I’m talking $360 a year pricey, so try Microsoft Editor for free instead. It’s built into Word, Outlook, and even has a free Chrome extension for grammar and style checks.

And I might get cancelled for saying this one but Spotify has a family plan for six people for only $19.99 a month.. So gather up all your friends… your roommates.. your cousins… just make sure you all input the same address (wink wink)… sorry Spotify please don’t ban me.

Which one are you canceling first?
