#WCW: Women to Watch

This week's #womancrushwednesday is women in media - whether you're watching them perform or what they directed, you're watching strong work from strong women.

These three women are creating content for us to be inspired by and giving back to the community at the same time. They are empowering us with narratives not widely spread and helping everyone see themselves in the media we watch.

1. Lilly Singh - iiSuperwomanii

Lilly Singh, known to most as iiSuperwomanii, is such force to be reckoned with - we couldn’t fit it all in one blog. She felt that her life wasn’t headed in the direction right for her and turned to youtube to build her brand. Not only is she a hilarious creator but an outspoken advocate for equality. She launched #GirlLove which encourages woman to compliment and openly admire each other, and uses her birthday to partner with the charity Me to We.

She is truly a superwoman in every sense of the word.
