How Leaf OS Made Me Rich on Animal Crossing

ACNH

You’ve probably heard someone talking about "Animal Crossing" in the last few months and there’s a reason! Animal Crossing isn’t just a game, it’s pretty much therapy with cute bears in cardigans. It’s  basically a social simulation game on Nintendo Switch-- and let’s just say it’s addicting. The Nintendo Switch version of the game was released right before COVID-19 was recognized as a pandemic (and right before we all gained 10 pounds). The game has sold over 13.1 million copies and even the global supply chains for Nintendo Switch have been sold out for months now. Here’s the best part: you know how we can’t travel in person just yet? Animal Crossing has travel features that lets you visit your friend’s or other player’s island as a cute customized character with items in your bag to trade (sounds like a virtual potluck to me!).

So here is where Leaf OS comes in…

On Leaf OS, players with high Turnip prices will share their prices onto the app to help other players benefit from the margin. Without Leaf OS, you’d have to dig through heaps of forums and negotiate entrance fees or pray for someone in your circle to hit the jackpot. Honestly, it was too big of a risk that I didn’t bother with Turnip trading before Leaf OS.

On Leaf OS you’ll frequently receive a notification each time a player reports a high Turnip price. The app organizes a waiting list at a first-come first-serve basis for players to come into the reported island at a controlled number of visitors-- you won’t have to worry about the game crashing or lagging. The host can also close their island’s gates at any time and the post will be automatically removed from Leaf OS. This is better than buying from the stock market, you're guaranteed to earn somewhat of a profit from your Turnips just by hopping on a Dodo plane for free. While waiting in line, there is a chat section where people socialize and share their experiences on the app or on the designated island. Honestly the community on Leaf OS is literally the sweetest on here.

All of this is FREE!

Yup. You don’t even need to share your personal data, only your Animal Crossing avatar name. Buying an island-full of Turnips from Daisy Mae in the morning has become a part of my Sunday routine. If f you’re as obsessed with Animal Crossing as I am you MUST try Leaf OS.
