How Data is Helping Me Lose Weight and Feel Good

Up until a few weeks ago, I didn’t own a scale. I would only know my body weight each time I went for a doctor's visit or stepped on the scale at the gym. The truth is, for me, it's not just about the numbers on the scale or the size I'm wearing. I JUST want to feel good in my skin and be healthy. It’s true, 140 pounds can look like two completely different physiques. You know like skinny fat??

But as a newish mom (how did 10 months go by so fast), my body has changed a lot. My Middle Eastern hips don’t lie, they’re much wider, my skin has stretched out, and it has been harder to lose all the weight.

So when I received the Fit Track scale I was really excited. It’s not a regular scale. It’s a great gadget with 17 indicators like water weight, muscle mass, BMR (super important) and much more. Did you know?  Your metabolic age will give you an idea of what kind of physical health you are in using your base metabolic rate, or BMR. If your metabolic age is lower than your actual age, it means your body is in good health. But, if your metabolic age is higher than your actual age, it may mean you are having health problems or may need to change your eating and exercising habits. Your metabolic age depends on your activity level, genetics, height, weight, and actual age.

So how does it work?

STEP ON THE SCALE BARE FEET, the number syncs and then show the results on your phone. From there you are logging weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass growth, and so much more is a real eye-opener. The data goes straight to the app and it  saves all the data for you too, so you have it all stored in one place and can track your progress and set goals.

In our data-driven age, there's a way to lose weight that doesn't involve strictly regulating your diet or starving yourself of the foods you love. This isn't anything new. People have been counting calories, recording their exercise routines, and monitoring their body composition for decades. This is a step up, measuring real numbers that matter.

Fit Track leverages data that is most effective, using a proprietary algorithm, designed by leading engineers alongside the FitTrack Medical Advisory Board. As the end user, I feel empowered with more information so that I can be aligned with my goals.

I’ve been really excited about this gadget. If you guys want to get your hands on this head over to FitTrack and use this link https://fbuy.io/fit/69s3ywpm for 20% off.
