Editorial and Content Coordinator Intern (Paid)

TechSesh is looking for an Editorial and Content Coordinator intern to support in the creation of blogs, social, copy and other branding materials to support our overall goals. From concept through execution, this candidate will help learn how to bring the brand to life while making tech sexy and exciting.

You will be responsible for creating content to be top of mind and provide valuable, digestible and entertaining tech/ lifestyle content across all our channels and blog. Your responsibilities will also include sharing content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices.

Our ideal intern is a professional with demonstrable creative writing and marketing skills. As our Content Coordinator Intern, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Work with founder to write and produce creative, catchy content in the TechSesh smart and snarky brand voice

  • Seek out and execute stories that bringing actionable insights and inspiring stories to the TechSesh community of women in tech, app reviews, gadget roundups 

  • Be an active contributor and have strong opinions about editorial strategy

  • Maintain a relentless focus on driving deadlines

  • Display a genuine curiosity and interest in writing about the kinds of topics we cover

  • Work with founder to establish and maintain editorial calendar and content pipeline

  • Manage back-end content management post process (collect photo assets, format copy, upload content to website)

  • Support Copy and Social teams with copywriting, pre-production, and other administrative responsibilities

The type of projects you might find yourself leading or supporting include:

  • Write a gadget guide for the Best and Most Stylish Phone cases 

  • Interview women in tech for our She Leads Series

  • Help write blog posts, video scripts, IG Story scripts

Qualifications

  • At least one year writing digitally native A+ content

  • Great attitude, high energy and hustle

  • Strong sense of voice and tone, and a demonstrated ability to write within a distinctive brand voice

  • Experience as an contributor to editorial strategy

  • Experience with day-to-day management of content calendars

  • Strong interest in product marketing

  • Ability to copy edit quickly with a great attention to detail

Bonus Points

  • A passion for all things tech and social media style 

  • Project management experience, including juggling multiple projects

  • Understanding of content strategy including SEO best-practices and content KPIs
