Social Media Coordinator

What you'll do:

  • Create, customize and execute our strategy for each social media channel

  • Write and edit compelling social copy across our social channels

  • Manually post approved content and videos across all channels and create formats exclusively for social media

  • Increase social presence, fan base and engagement on social networks, events, and partner collaborations

  • Analyze our performance across social media, identify trends and opportunities and give feedback to editorial team

  • Collaborate and innovate with editorial team on strategy, planning and execution of all social initiatives and campaign in the types of content appearing on existing pages/feeds and in experimenting with new platforms

  • Exemplify social media best practice

  • Conceive and execute strategy to drive traffic to long form blog content across all channels

  • Identify and interpret social media trends and be aware/proactive on new platforms and tools

  • Manage all Social Media platforms including IG STORIES, Twitter, Pinterest, YT

  • Translate quantitative and qualitative data to support actionable social media engagement plans for continuous improvement

  • Other duties as assigned

What you have:

  • At least 1-2 years experience working with social media, especially Facebook and Instagram – experience with Pinterest is a big plus

  • Demonstrate knowledge of community management and of growing audiences and proven track record

  • A demonstrate ability to write creative, shareable social copy and headlines that make people engage and and documented immersion in social media

  • Strong writing background with meaningful portfolio of articles is a plus

  • Impeccable organization and communication skills, attention to detail, and a respect for deadlines

  • Confident in juggling a range of different tasks and prioritizing for urgency and effect

  • Data/Analytics reporting

  • Familiarity with basic analytics and platforms like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and other common tools; their respective audiences and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios

  • A love and an eye for TechSatish aesthetic; a passion for imagery

  • Early-adopter with regard to social media, new app features and all other things digital

  • Strong affinity to the tech, Zeitgeist, social phenomena, pop culture, global news, fashion and lifestyle

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or related field

  • Excellent writing and language skills

  • Graphic design, photography and editing is a plus
