Twitter's going on a purge

There are about to be a lot less eggs on Twitter, starting on December 11. The social media platform you use to post memes, call out Bachelor contestants and share interesting articles will be deleting inactive accounts, in an effort to free up handle names.

Twitter told the news to TechCrunch in a statement reading: “We have begun proactive outreach to many accounts who have not logged into Twitter in over six months to inform them that their accounts may be permanently removed due to prolonged inactivity.” So basically, wave goodbye to that account you made for your dog in high school.
