Destress with TouchPoints — stress relieving wearable

Wedding planning can be super stressful, and while you may think I was a crazy stressed-out bridezilla, you would be wrong. I was actually really calm leading up to my June 3rd wedding and still living on cloud nine.

I used TouchPoints. In case you’re getting married or generally very nervous or stresses, let me tell you what this thing is.

TouchPoints are non-invasive neuroscientific lifestyle wearables that use neuroscience to relieve stress! TouchPoints can improve sleep, performance, and focus, and can reduce cravings and anger.

It is insane what this cool industrial bracelet can do. Bi-Lateral Alternating Stimulation Tactile (BLAST) stimulation to give the user a gentle vibration that affects the brain and alters the body's fight, flight or freeze response, and this tech has been used in successful treatment for PTSD, anxiety, and panic disorders, and is completely non-invasive.

The great thing about TouchPoints is that it isn’t anecdotal evidence. In January 2017, the company analyzed data from thousands of users who entered metrics into the product’s app. The data replicates and validates co-founder and neuropsychologist Dr. Amy Serin's earlier clinical data. The new data showed that within just 30 seconds of using TouchPoints, people experienced a 71 percent reduction in their stress levels. ( I had a chance to meet with Dr. Serin and her co-founder, Vicki Mayo and they are the real deal badass women who are making things happen with tech).

TouchPoints bracelets, which are 2 bands for 1 person, are safe for adults and kids and connects to an app on your phone, which includes 6 preset abilities, plus you can make your own.

The 6 presets are:

  • Reduce Stress Now
  • Improve Focus
  • Manage Anger
  • Optimize Performance
  • Sleep Better
  • Manage Cravings

I don’t know about you, but my life is better when I am less stressed out and more focused. I get more done, feel better, and even sleep better! I don’t think I could have survived wedding planning without it. Although, a nice Mexican honeymoon was pretty relaxing, too!

Have you ever used sensory wearables like TouchPoints? What was your experience?
