Here's everything you need to know about the new 📲iPhones and Watch

From a stunning new Apple Watch Ultra to a reimagined iPhone 14 Pro, here's everything announced at its September 2022 event.

The iPhone 14 is Here!

The smaller model with a 6.1-inch screen is called the iPhone 14 Pro. The bigger model will be called the iPhone 14 Max.

The iPhone 14 Pro has a lot of new features:

An always-on display which doesn’t turn off when it’s not in use.
Apple also introduced a new low-power mode to make the battery life last longer.
It uses Apple’s latest A16 Bionic chip, which Apple says was built on a 4-nanometer process.
A 48-megapixel camera thanks to a bigger sensor.
Better low-light photography.
Redesigned flash.
The iPhone 14 Pro will start at $999, and the bigger model starts at $1099. That’s the same price as last year’s models. They go up for preorder on Friday and will ship next week.

Features of the iPhone 14 include:

True -tone OLED display.
Five colors including a new light blue.
Improved battery life.
Ceramic screens that are more durable.
Better low-light performance on the front-facing camera.
Action Mode that stabilizes video.
Safety service called Emergency SOS via Satellite that can connect to emergency services even if the user is outside of cellular or wi-fi range. It’s free for iPhone 14 users in the U.S. and Canada and launches in Canada.

iPhone 14 Plus (6.7-inch): $899

iPhone 14 Pro (6.1-inch): $999

iPhone 14 Pro Max (6.7-inch): $1,099

Apple Watch 8 Series

Apple also debuted a new and improved Watch Series 8. At a glance, the Apple Watch 8 looks very similar to its older sibling, but on the bottom and insides, there are several new tricks.

Apple introduced a new low-power mode that promises up to 36 hours of battery life when needed, international roaming options, upgrades to the advanced cycle tracking features, new watch faces, and several fun new watch band options.

Apple Watch Series 8 will start at $399 for the GPS model or $499 for the GPS + Cellular watch. Like the new phones, shipping begins on September 16th.
