How To Cool Your Phone

There can be MANY reasons your phone overheats.  And it’s annoying and inconvenient. You could be in the middle of a very important phone call. Using GPS to find your way to an event you’re trying to not be late for. Or just using it to stream to your TV.

Here are some ways to cool it down so it won’t crash or die on you:

• Take it out of the heat. Simple enough, right?

• Close excess apps, these can really kill your battery faster as it takes more RAM to keep them running.

• Update all your apps (older versions of apps require more RAM and processors)

• Stop overcharging your phone. OVER charging your phone can actually do it more harm than good to not only your phone but your overall battery life.

• Remove your phone from its case. Think of like wearing a sweater in 90 degree heat. Removing your sweater will naturally cool you down.

• Keep your phone separated from other devices. The heat from each piece could be contributing to it’s over heating.

• Turn on airplane mode until it cools down. It’s like unplugging all your phantom power.

• Use a proper charger (not a cheap knockoff charger). Cheap chargers that weren’t made specifically for your phone can be contributing to it’s poor running form. Make sure you by legitimate iPhone chargers made by Apple.
